Masciarelli Tenute Agricole was established in 1981 from the entrepreneurial intuition of Gianni Masciarelli, a symbol of Italian wine and protagonist of the success of modern wine production in Abruzzo. The beating heart of the winery is in San Martino sulla Marrucina, in the province of Chieti, and includes vineyards and olive groves, in all 4 provinces of Abruzzo
In 2021, on the occasion of the celebration of its 40th anniversary, Masciarelli Tenute Agricole launched the Masciarelli Art Project, a project that was born with the intention of establishing a fruitful dialogue with internationally renowned artists in order to tell in a new interpretative key the multifaceted Masciarelli world that becomes a destination of art available to the public.

In the last 30 years, Masciarelli Tenute Agricole has studied and enhanced the regional agricultural heritage, revealing the winemaking potential of a land of strong contrasts – and therefore of unique terroirs – such as Abruzzo.
Today Masciarelli is the only company capable of reading the extraordinary diversity of Abruzzo, with over 60 parcels of vineyards planted in the 4 provinces of Abruzzo.
LIMITED EDITION
"la Botte di Gianni"
This is a particular story. A few years ago Marina Cvetic Masciarelli found in the basement two French oak barrels of 700 liters, which had been purchased by Gianni Masciarelli in his constant search for a new project. In the harvest of 2010, she decided – with the whole team – to vinify a white wine, and leave to mature for 30 months in one of the barrels. It’s the birth of the Trebbiano d’Abruzzo Riserva “La Botte di Gianni”
